"Jennifer Pennifer is a well-written and beautifully illustrated children's book. The story leads to Jennifer's misadventure and the positive, loving way her mother responds. Throughout the story, there is expression of positive family values: eating together as a family and enjoying family meals, parents helping their children, parents reading to their children and communication between family members. The resource page is a bonus for parents, giving insight and advice on arenting. I recommend this book for children, ages 4 to 11. "
